Period of validity single journey: Up to 100 km: 1 day

Tickets for international journeys are valid for a maximum of 15 days

Period of validity between outward and return journey (journey of up to 100 km): Outward journey: valid on the stated day of the outward journey.
Return journey: valid on the stated day of the return journey
Period of validity between outward and return journey (journey with more than 100 km): Outward journey: valid on the 1st stated date and the following day of the outward journey.
Return journey: valid on two consecutive days within one month. The first date of validity has to be fixed at the moment of purchase or by a ticket inspector on board of the train.
Products: Intercity-Express (ICE), Intercity-Express Sprinter (ICE Sprinter), Intercity (IC), Eurocity (EC), Interregio-Express (IRE), Regional-Express (RE), Regionalbahn (RB), S-Bahn.
City Night Line may be used with a supplement only (in combination with a reservation).
Specific trains: No
Ticket: Applies for a single journey. Outward and return journey can be booked in one session.
