Booking period:	The "Sparpreis" (saver fare for Germany) is for sale 91 days before intended travel date up until shortly before departure.
Validity period between outward and return journey:	One month.
Itinerary:	ICE, ICE Sprinter, TGV, Railjet, Intercity (IC), Eurocity (EC), D Trains (D-Zug), CNL, EN 420/421 and EN 490/491 in combination with a reservation for the night trains. Regional connecting trains may be used before or after the long distance journey. City Night Line, D trains, and EN may be used with a supplement.
Products:	Intercity-Express (ICE), Intercity-Express Sprinter (ICE Sprinter), TGV, railjet (RJ), Intercity (IC), Eurocity (EC), D-train (D), all City Night Line trains and Euro Night trains 420/421 and 490/491 (plus the reservation for the desiered comfort category). City Night Line, D trains, and Euro Night may be used with a supplement. Regional connecting trains may be used before or after the long distance journey.
Restrictions:	When buying the ticket you will have to indicate your name and date. The ticket is not transferable and the train indicated on your ticket is the train you have to travel on.
Wagon classes:	Available for travel in 1st and 2nd class.
Route deviation:	Not possible.
BahnCard	BahnCard 25 holders receive a 25% discount.
Accompanying persons:	After the 1st person, passengers 2 - 5 pay each 9 euros less as an accompanying passenger. (Example: 2 passengers pay 49 euros instead of 58)
Accompanying children:	Children up to and including 5 years of age travel for free(nothing has to be written on the ticket). Children between the ages 6-15 travel for free but must be mentioned on the parent's or grandparent's ticket.
Refunds/Exchange:	Tickets can be reimbursed or exchanged until and on the day of departure for a fee of 17.50 euros. No refund or exchange allowed after the day of travel.
Notes:	The tickets are subject to availability. The use of night trains requires a special supplement.
